HOPPECKE has celebrated its 90th birthday at the last weekend together with more than 1000 employees and their families on the factory premises in Brilon-Hoppecke. On a large family afternoon, the employees were able to show their families their workplaces. In a team game in which around 70 employees took part, the winning team won a one-week trip to China, the world's second largest HOPPECKE location.
HOPPECKE was founded on 27 September 1927 by Carl Zoellner. Today, Dr. Marc Zoellner leads the family business in its fourth generation. The manufacturer of batteries and energy storage systems today employs around 2,000 people at more than 20 international subsidiaries worldwide and generates sales of around 410 million euros.
