Only the area of heavy-duty applications with loads of five tons or more is currently dominated by diesel trucks in most areas. However, the pressure on this market segment is growing because of regulatory measures taken by politicians against climate change to promote electrification here as well. The switch to electric forklifts is also subsidized by the government under certain circumstances.
