New President HOPPECKE US

David Hankins is appointed President of HOPPECKE USA, reporting to Dr. Marc Zoellner, CEO of the HOPPECKE Group, with effect from, September 5th, 2017.  He joins HOPPECKE from Schneider Electric, where he served as Vice President and General Manager of their Industrial Process Automation Division, based in Houston, TX since 2014.
Mr. Hankins will lead the HOPPECKE US organization including sales, service and operations for our Motive Power, Reserve Power and Special Power Business Units.  He is responsible to implement a long-term business strategy to drive significant growth in the US market through customer focus and expanding US manufacturing in conjunction with our US dealer network.  
Mr. Hankins brings over 30 years of experience in the US Industrial Market.  Prior to his time with Schneider Electric, he worked for over 24 years in sales and sales/operational leadership roles covering distributors, original equipment manufacturers and end- customers in electric power distribution and automation.
Mr. Hankins lives in the Philadelphia area with his wife and two children and will be based at our US headquarters in Hainesport, New Jersey.
