HOPPECKE Christmas action for children and young people - Wednesday, 18.12.2024

For the fourth year running, HOPPECKE is bringing joy to the hearts of children and young people from disadvantaged families with its Christmas campaign. The initiative, which has now established itself as an integral part of the company's social commitment, is once again fulfilling the Christmas wishes of children and young people from the Caritas association network in Brilon and Zwickau this year. For the first time, seven young people with mental disabilities from a fully residential care group have also received their wish present.

‘Christmas is a time of giving and joy. With our annual Christmas campaign, we want to ensure that even those who have a harder time can experience the magic of these special days,’ explains Marie-Laure Mader, the initiator of the campaign.
‘The realisation of this initiative would not be possible without the great support of the HOPPECKE workforce,’ emphasises Marie-Laure Mader. ‘The employees buy the gifts with great dedication, wrap them lovingly and often add sweets and small gifts.’

In both Brilon and Zwickau, the gifts were handed over to the Caritas association this week so that they can be placed under the Christmas tree in time to make the hearts of the children and young people shine.
