Expert lecture at the LogiMAT trade fair: The connected traction battery - Tuesday, 27.02.2018

Digitized, connected, innovative. The largest annual intralogistics trade fair in Europe, the LogiMAT (March 13 to 15,2018, Messe Stuttgart, Germany), focuses on the intelligent management of internal material flows. In an expert lecture, HOPPECKE Product Manager Dr. -Ing Manuel Strugholtz will explain the possibilities offered by the Internet of Things for fleet and energy management.
Connecting all components of an intralogistics fleet helps to reduce costs, prevent downtimes and create transparency. The intelligent control of the overall energy system not only optimises the use of batteries but also prolongs their service life. Defects and faults can be detected and eliminated at an early stage. The evaluation of the continuously collected data enables optimal fleet management.

Connected fleet and energy management saves money

Intelligent load peak management leads to significant savings, and it is even possible to cushion load peaks through flexible large-scale energy storage systems. A remote portal, which can be used by mobile and stationary end devices, provides a clear overview of the evaluated data.
In his lecture at the LogiMAT trade fair, Dr. -Ing Manuel Strugholtz will talk about the demands made on the system architecture by networked fleet and energy management. He will show how to design communication infrastructure and interfaces for different applications. Dr. -Ing Strugholtz will give his lecture on Thursday, 15.03. from 11:45 am to 12:15 pm in Forum E | Hall 9 at the LogiMAT, Messe Stuttgart.
