All-electric fleet
Indeed, this equipment is vital to its operation. From manufacturer Logisnext Mitsubishi there are 26 trucks in total. Seven counterbalance forklifts work alongside five reach trucks. TechnoCargo also operates 11 low level order pickers and three powered pallet trucks.
Leading logistics services
Part of the Vaillant Group, TechnoCargo provides logistics services to the leading manufacturer of boilers, heat pumps and heating systems. The business also supports several plumbing supplies firms. Its 250,000 sq. ft. Derbyshire distribution hub moves around 5,000 pallets daily. There are between 75-100 inbound and outbound lorry deliveries. Over a year, TechnoCargo forwards 1.2 million items. Its accuracy rate is an enviable 99.98%.
Service and reliability
Basically, the contract takes the existing TechnoCargo-Hoppecke relationship to a new level. TechnoCargo decided to switch to a new MHE supplier. However, having experienced high levels of service and reliability from Hoppecke with the previous fleet of trucks TechnoCargo insisted on retaining Hoppecke expertise as part of the deal.
Energy cost savings
In particular, it’s the efficiency of our batteries that impresses. Now, by also installing our Trak Air charging system, TechnoCargo is set to save around £50,000 a year in electricity costs.
Efficient battery changing
Furthermore, a new changing set up boosts fleet performance. We installed an upgraded version of our MU changing system. It features improved magnetic battery removal, which increases the efficient and accuracy of battery changing. Basically, the system simplifies and speeds up the process. Battery changing is quick. Plus, there’s less equipment wear and tear. Overall, this helps to enhance operational efficiency.
