grid | AquaGen pro

When using the grid | AquaGen pro recombination system, the gases which are produced during water decomposition in the battery, hydrogen and oxygen, are fed into the aquagen plug. By means of an integrated catalyst, these gases are recombined, and water vapor is produced. The water vapor condenses on the walls of the grid | AquaGen plug and flows downwards back into the battery.

The grid | AquaGen pro is suitable for lead batteries and nickel cadmium batteries with liquid electrolytes in stationary applications for emergency power supply. The recombination of the gases takes place with an efficiency of up to 98 %. The resulting significant reduction in water consumption reduces maintenance costs during the service life of the battery. In addition, ventilation requirements and operating costs can be reduced due to the reduced gas formation.
