HOPPECKE's award-winning lithium onboard battery system has been successfully implemented in a large European metro network. It is characterised by a 50 % reduction in installation space, a 30 % reduction in weight and a considerable reduction in maintenance requirements, while at the same time extending the service life.
This technological innovation plays a key role in promoting sustainability and efficiency in rail transport and enables Siemens Mobility to significantly increase customer benefits.
